Day Trips: 6:30am – 3:30pm. We run regular individual fishing trips on selected dates which are open to the public. Any one can join these trips. It’s a great way for you and your friends and family to get out on the water for a fantastic price

Evening Trips: 4pm – 9:30pm. We offer a unique evening or ‘Dusky’ trip departing 4pm and returning 9:30pm. Evening is often the best time to fish on the Hauraki Gulf as the fish size increases dramatically on dusk as they feed up before dark.

Valid from June to September. Maximum of 16 on board at one time. Targeting Grandad Snapper, Kingfish and any other trophy fish we come across. We depart Westhaven Marina at 6.00am, heading out wide to target some of the huge Kingfish and massive Snapper.

Starting from $1150 you can hire the whole boat. The M.V. Joy has an inside cabin seating area and a household toilet system onboard. There is an excellent sound system on board. Use of the BBQ is free of charge. Passengers are welcome to bring their own refreshments along.
